good morning kitchen dwellers

i been trying to catch up on the postings here......
some of you are going shelling?? is that like looking for shells on the beach?? lol
i use to love doing that..... my favorite area to look is on the gulf side of Fla.. sooo much more fun things to find. and best time is right after a thunder /windy storm and the tides it out...

ok left overs..... we had christmas at my brothers and well didnt have much left overs to get.. lol ... guess it was a good thing.... but ummm i kinda miss having some left over turkey..
if im home for new yrs weekend ... i am going to make something outside on the smoker.... every yr since the mid 80's i have made on new yrs day .. a whole beef brisket.. texas style.. and a red skin tater salad.. black eye peas.. , and other side items.... i felt it was a great change of pace from the more common holiday meats like turkey and ham.. which seems like a lot of sick of by the time new yrs rolls around.. lol and seemd refreshing a good way to start of a new yr.
now where is my mimosa ?? .... lol

so love the people who treat you right,
forget about the ones who dont,
and believe that everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance take it... if it changes your life let it.
