The older I get, the more I find I like uncomplicated people, things, etc. ... and am realizing I am enjoying being older. (54 years old right now) I was talking to a friend the other day about what a simple life I lead - on purpose! It is nice to feel content, not have to worry about trying to outdo anyone or "shine" in any way ... but to only be comfortable being my "simpleton" self. LOL! Once in a great while, when I find I am interacting with a person who seemingly is buying into their own inflated ego and perhaps trying to "one up" me or exhitbit how much smarter, etc. they are than me ... I let them ... and then quietly dismiss them from my life. Same thing for gamers ... if people are still playing games at 50+ that is fine but not someone I want to be around.
Things of this nature drain my positive energy.
Life is too good these days. I am so blessed in many ways.
