I admit that over the last six months, I've been kind of confused and amused at the amount of fascination over the royal wedding and every minute detail of it, especially on behalf of the American public. But then... I set my alarm today for 4:45 in the morning so that I wouldn't miss it. LOL
My plan was to watch it until I had to leave for work so about a half hour before Kate was to arrive at the church, I hopped in the shower. Soon after, Toxic, who had said repeatedly that she was not going to watch it, shouted at me frantically, "Hurry! The Queen is coming!" which made me laugh out loud.

It was a beautiful wedding, from the music to the classic simplicity of her dress, to the way the public rallies around and seems to really care for this young couple. When Charles and Diana married, I was a little kid, watching it while I played with my Lite Brite on the floor in front of the TV! It was kind of neat watching this wedding this morning.
