I am converting my seldom used spice rack into a craft rack. It looks like the spice rack found at
this link. I don't mind losing this spice rack because it was given to me many years ago and the jars are not air tight, which means if I put any spices in them, they will go bad or worse: Attract bugs. Yuck!
My quandary is this: Currently, the lids have all been labeled in silver paint with which spice is supposed to be in which jar. I can't figure out how to get the silver paint off. Simply marking over the words with a black permanent marker is a viable option, but you can still see the words somewhat.
Ideas?
