Yayyyyyy Peepers!! Mark 1 point down for the "little guys"!!

I LOVE Killdeer birdies and their babies! It's about time someone steps up to protect them, their nests and their sweet little fuzzy babies!!
Now.... maybe I can send a reminder to my neighbor that just mows right over their nests every week (I really don't think he knows they are there.... the tiny little eggs blend right in!)
We as humans need to take more responsibility for protecting wildlife and our little pieces of Earth.
Killdeer birdies are so beautiful and VERY unique!! It would be a shame to loose them because we humans destroy their nests because we aren't aware they nest on the ground and we mow our lawns without looking out for them.

We saved baby peepers from storms last year, and returned them to their nests. This year, because our neighbor is mowing more than he did last year, we don't have as many nesting momma's around.

Look how they blend right in....

YAYYYY PEEPERS!!!
You won a big battle against those big ole' camper and car tires!!

We love birdies!.....They are so adorable and cute!
