I have a thing about using up leftovers and not wasting food...so tonight I made homemade soup with yesterday's leftover beef tenderloin, potatoes, onion, garlic, a little celery, green beans, diced tomatoes, chicken stock (I was out of beef

), white and yellow corn, peas, a little tomato paste and a splash of worcestershire sauce. It was yummy if I do say so myself....and the velociraptors agreed.
To go with it, I made a batch of cheese biscuits from scratch (again...using up the leftover 4 cheese mexican blend from our nachos last week). My biscuits are ugly, but tasty. I've made so many thousands of batches that I don't bother with rolling them out and cutting them in pretty circles. I pat the dough flat, cut it with a knife and there ya' go....square biscuits. Deal with it!
