Hopefully the rest of you will receive your projects on Tuesday
Since Elle and I both live in NY the mail is only a hop, skip, and a jump away.
I hope that as people receive their packages, they will come to the thread and explain what risk they took and how they did it. I love hearing about that just as much as the art itself! Also, it teaches us all new techniques. I also like hearing about people's emotional process when doing something new

I just want to say that mine was risky because I never used one of my (iPhone) photos in an art project before, and neither have I used glitter. I had taken the photo in preparation for the ill-fated "wet dreams" on my birthday during a visit to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and decided to use it (did you notice the shiny copper coins at the bottom corner?). Looking for a suitable way to mount the photos, I found I had enough mats recycled from a printing studio, and decided to actually "frame" them. Wanting the "frames" to look rich and opulent, I decided to use glitter I had purchased from Martha Stewart Christmas Craft Fair (thinking I would use it to make cards, which never happened).
I was pretty pleased with the results!

Elle*, looking forward to the next project, and very contrite about realizing I never sent Jenny the money!
