I love stuff like this. When I come across it, (even though you were playing with the words) I remember exactly what I was doing at a particular moment in time.
My brother (my twin) and I were Juniors in High School when this song was extremely popular, and he was letting his blonde hair grow long. It was just starting to touch his shirt collar, and he was always looking at it, and himself, in the mirror, and I'd belt out this lyric every time I caught him!
He had a nice cheesy grin in reply.
