Tell her! Seriously, the worst that can happen is that she could say "I'm sorry but I don't feel the same way". It'll hurt, but you knew that anyway.

If you really can't tell her, then don't forget that was your choice. Please don't do what my best friend did and hold it all inside until you can't bear it any more.. The resulting explosion nearly destroyed our friendship, and while we remained friends it was never the same again.

Tell your friend and hope to God her lack of interest will be the key to let you go.
