I posted this on my facebook but this just made me so happy today I want to post it here.

This morning I took the dogs out to pee. One of the dogs is half german shepherd (or maybe one quarter lol) and the rest whippet (which is a small greyhound) and he LOVES to run and is lightning fast - so fast he can catch mice.. and flies.. and wasps (which aren't really fast per se but will sting him and he's a fearless little fella). So I take them out but he stops cause he can't go any further cause he had to pee so badly. But I didn't know he stopped and kept walking and accidently pulled the collar off of his head. Well, he knew he was free. But did he bolt? NO! He went right to the steps to the door to be let back in.

This was HUGE to me. My other dog is terrible about running away and it takes me hours and hours to get her back. But my boy did not want to run away - or even run. While it may not seem like much, it touched my heart and made me smile
