If you know me, you know I can come off as rather serious. Today what I really enjoyed was playing with some Tweens. The principle we were talking about was things are not always as they seem, as they might appear.

We did an experiment with corn starch and water. I got my hands into this corn starch, water and water colors. I realized how good it felt to swish my hands about in all of this goop and listen to the kids talk about their take on things and watch them interact with one another.

I actually had fun and the kids, they are so much more ahead of some of us "grown ups" with insight.
