Got out of bed, begrudgingly
Tried not to cry
Took a shower, making sure not to brush against her
Cried softly for a short bit before she noticed and begged me to stop
Got dressed and finished packing
Missed our flight from Vegas to OKC , got put on stand-by
Sent to another gate
THAT flight was full
Sent to another gate

Walked I swear a mile in Las Vegas airport over all before we got to our final gate! But I was thankful for the distraction.

Flew from Vegas to Lubbock, Texas
From Lubbock, Texas to Dallas, Texas
From Dallas, Texas to Oklahoma City...finally!

In and amongst all this mess, I've had to fight the tears and the heartache so this day feels like it has been very very long.
