making a birthday dinner of Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches and Oven-baked Sweet Potato Chips, with Carrot Cake, and also a Caramel Apple Cake, all homemade. All for my daughter's 42nd birthday. Haven't been able to spend a birthday with her for about 15 yrs.

I was sitting on the couch afterwards, watching several of the grandkids gathered around the kitchen table, working on some art project, and I realized just how blessed I am right now, being up here amongst them. Yeah, this is why I moved back.
