1. I've played chess since I was 14 years old; have gone to tournaments but now just for fun.

5. I like traveling to the sites of disasters-where the Eastland capsized, where the Chicago Fire started, the site of the East Ohio Gas Explosion in Cleveland, the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory, and more.

9. I read "classic" novels for their windows on different times
10. Dick Francis is one of my favorite mystery authors
11. I haven't ridden a bicycle (besides exercise bikes) in 14 years
12. I never learned to ride a bike with speeds and the brakes on the handlebars.
13. I have terrible hand-eye coordination and cannot play anything involving hitting a small ball.
14. I have a Norweigan Forest Cat and a Torbie kitten. The NFC is so huge, they look like a cartoon together.
15. I hate shopping, except on foreign soil.
16. I don't like beaches or cruises; I love to see historical sites.
