My very first voice teacher ~ Colleen Blondeau ~ died yesterday.
She was the woman who introduced me to opera.
If I am/was ANYthing as a singer and musician, it was because of this woman.
My 2nd Mom, my mentor, my teacher and guide, she was an amazing
Irish soul who lit up a room when she entered.
What I wouldn't give to have just one more conversation with her...just to hear her giggle and see her eyes twinkle.
But now, the Angel Choir is KICKASS!
I sure wish I could hear!
