The echos of December blow cold..the last leaves turn & twist trying to hold fast to their memories of summer.. It's hard to let go, but time, like winter, will not allow us to stand still..It still feels so good to huddle under our blankets a little longer and listen to the birds tweet their thanks as they shop at the abundantly filled feeder.. singing a song of magic, in the dark, as we drape our hearths with pine & mistletoe, and throw an offering into the fire, baking Yule cookies to share with friends..and being thankful for the abundance.
