Default My New Cat!

This is Ella.

Ella by cecily, on Flickr

She was being taken care of by a family who took her in after her original owners moved and left her behind. The family -- especially the father -- really wanted to keep her, but she just didn't get along with the other cats in the household as she was used to being the dominant cat.

I found her on Craigslist of all places, spotted her only 30 minutes after the owner placed the adoption ad. I saw her profile on a Friday, and took her home on a Sunday. She's been living with me a month now. It was rough going at first - we both had to go through an adjustment period - but now I'm so happy I have her in my life.

Here's another photo of her, giving what I call her Popeye face:

i think i should change her name to popeye by cecily, on Flickr
