Hello healthies

I had my monthly weigh-in and measure day at Curves this morning. It was interesting, and rewarding, especially since my scale is still stuck.

Overall, I lost just 2 lbs (in a month)....not what I'd like, but I get that this is a major plateau area for me, and I haven't been as good about food as I was before my mother arrived. I hope that her departure, and the resulting decrease in stress, may help nudge that along.

The rewarding part, however, was learning that I've lost 1-1/2 inches off my abdomen, 1-1/4 inches off my hips, and 1/4 inch off of each upper arm. Waist and thighs haven't changed....and neither has bust, which makes me happy since that seems to be the first area to go and I don't have that much to spare!

I also got my annual wellness report results from work which compares January 2011 to January 2012. Even though my weight, waist, etc. all increased first after January 2011 before I started serioiusly working to change my diet....round about August or September...the results are still good.

Over the last year, even with a blip up first, I've lost 4 inches off my waist and 2.6 on BMI.

I'll take it!
