I got home from the weekend and discovered that my apartment DOES have a smell.

You know how people's houses smell like their particular house-smell? I'm not explaining very carefully, but I think everyone's house smells like it belongs to them. Some places smell kind of weird, some smell constantly of cooking, some smell of cleaning products...

I'm pleased to say that mine smells of talcum powder and tea. Maybe not sexy for someone under 80 years old, but it's better than what I'd feared.
