whats the deal with this i think to myself this is my all time favorite reality show and yet i find myself looking more forward to Sundays airing of the amazing race...
I think i just do not care much for any of the contestants on this season..
The title "One World" was an awesome title then they threw in battle of the sexes and yet it hasn't really been any sort of battle girls whining and crying then pulling in trusting dudes then voting them off posh...what kind of shit is that?
they were all together then separated for what 2 weeks what is that like 4 days survivor time????
I watched last night just as i did last week, Parkers recaps keep me posted for some reason my mind just isn't catching anything about this season and so i think i watch however do not really pay any attention at all...
idk perhaps it will get better????
ive been saying that from the start of this season...
maybe this season im just experiencing a bit of survivor "death" all puns intended

I totally feel you on this, G - I have to keep rewinding sections of the show this season because my mind drifts off to something else and I miss entire portions of the show.
Take last night - I actually thought that was a pretty good episode and yet I am struggling to remember what the hell it was about! lol
Let's see ..... they had another of their DIY reward challenges - which I think is weird. Every time they have one of those, I think to myself, what, did Probst call in sick? Dude only has to work 39 days twice a year and he couldnt be bothered to come to this reward challenge? Maybe he's as bored with this season as we are!
Anyway, they split themselves up into 2 groups, did some kind of rope tossing game for points and one of the teams won and went on a BBQ - it was uninspired and nothing really happened except Jay and Troy got together to decide that this tribal, a woman (or girl, since that's how they all refer to the women - girls - like their all 12 years old or something) just *had* to go or that would be proof that their alliance was a sham and it was women vs. men again.
Conversely, Kim, et.al. were scheming that who ever didnt win individual immunity (Troy or Jay) would be voted off next because they are the biggest threat in challenges, then they can worry about Lief and Tarzan.
The immunity challenge was that one where they stand under a big bucket of colored water with a rope tied to one hand while they stand barefoot on a narrow piece of wood - if they step or fall off of the wood or drop their arm, they are doused with the water and are out.
The instant Jeff said they were starting, Tarzan stepped off of his piece of wood and went to sit down. Then Jeff started coming out with food to tempt people to sit down and before anyone could blink, Sab stepped down for some cookies. Eventually, most everyone stepped down for one food item or another - including Jay, who thought he was safe - leaving Troy, Chelsea, and Lief.
Troy lost his balance and fell (I thought he was going to pass out, he just started weaving), leaving Chelsea and Lief. Chelsea said she could do this all day and told Lief that if he stepped down it would make him less of a threat. Then when Jeff brought out a tray with cheeseburgers, beer, and chips, Lief asked Chelsea if she was for real - she said yes, so he stepped down and Chelsea won.
Usually a challenge like that goes all damn day, but this one lasted like an hour - so you see what we mean by this season being ... bleh.
Anyway, the women decided Troy may have a hidden immunity idol so they wanted to split the votes between him and Jay. Then Troy told Jay he was going to play his HI idol because he got the feeling the women were playing them. Jay disagreed and told the women what Troy told him, letting Kim know Troy was voting for her.
At tribal, nothing exciting happened - pretty much everyone thought they were safe, there was no drama - hell, I dont even remember what they talked about and it was just a few hours ago! lol
Anyway, a couple of people voted for Troy - he played his idol and voted for Kim and 2 of the men voted for Alicia, but in the end Jay was voted off - and he was blindsided and looked a little butthurt, but in his parting speech congratulated the "girls" on getting him.
The preview for next week makes it look like Troy is trying to get the few remaining men to band together to try to vote off a woman .....
