What made me smile... (thinking about something that happened yesterday)
A new kid comes into the shelter. Kind of quiet but becomes a little cocky when he plays a game of pool with a male staff and wins. The staff puts the stick in my hand and says "it's your turn." The kid starts the game in the lead but I ended it with the win, leaving him with five balls still on the table.
Major lesson in life kid... Never underestimate the abilities of a female at the table, kid!
