Since I was very past hearing him say that I probably "threw like a girl," I fell into his trap and decided to play. First ball was a miss. But the second, was different. I threw it as hard as I could, missed the milk bottles but hit the backdrop with such ferocity that the ball came flying back towards us. It sped by the worker, almost clipping his ear. It hit the chain that was holding the game sign, the chain snapped and the sign flew down like a pendulum and barely missed everyone standing there. At that point, the worker handed me the largest prize there and said "please leave my booth."

~ When I was 18, I sang a song on the radio about picking your nose. It was a radio stunt that paid me $100 and I never thought twice about it.
