I really like fresh, soft, velvety basil leaves so I can just smell them or use them in recipe or make pesto.

I like the cool, crisp, morning air: especially if the clouds come very low and make everything very foggy, then mysteriously vanish into a very warm Fall afternoon.

I have been craving pretzels, almonds, oranges and apples lately (pesto, too).

I can't find my glasses: I usually leave them in one place specifically and as it is, they are not there. I have no idea where they could be.

I love quilts: I like how heavy they feel, how big they can be, and the artistic way they tell a story.
