The tee shirts don't bother me very much. As to the racist language, it's still being used. Blatantly. Proudly. In many areas. Whether it's deemed socially acceptable doesn't mean a hill 'o beans to those that use it.

I became sensitive to what is on tshirts when i was raising my child. People out and about would wear the crassist sayings..or worse...pictures on their Ts. And there I was with a super inquisitive kid who took every detail in of the world...and wanted to know what it meant...or why they said that. And of course my child did not have alot of filters (she gets it honestly. Her momma is outspoken too) and sometimes she would stomp her little femme foot and shout out "thats WRONG!" or something there of. I can laugh about it now, but I think about the other kids who saw those shirts and had no one around to explain cultural values. And it gets me too, that we put some stuff on kids shirts...I have seen little girls wearing some things that made me stop dead in my tracks and stare at the impossible...in my world, no one would let a 8 year old wear something about partying down...

oh well..I am old and wicked in my sensibilities. To each his or her own...
