Sitting on a big rock....at the cusp of the mountain top.....the sunlight filtering through the trees....leaves falling all around me....the shadow of a large raptor falling at my feet....I wouldn't have known he was there otherwise....then hearing a hawk cry as we hiked out....a truly blissful way to start my day... I'm just sorry I couldn't stay longer....
