I'm not listening to anything right now, except:

I can hear dogs barking in the distance--
a peaceful echoing of sounds rippling across the air.....

and, I see that my neighbors across the street are burning
wood in their fireplace this afternoon (I love to watch the smoke
rise and drift across the storyline of the trees).

*It's chilly here, today*
