The kids were at a total loss as to what to get me for Christmas-until last night. I found out that a very reputable scuba diving school is offering certification for $100.00, including classroom materials and swimming pool equipment rental, down from $300. I'm going to check it out this afternoon, but as I understand it, I don't have to rent more equipment until the open water part in the spring. With that, I have a choice of Florida, the Gulf Coast, or Lake Ouachita down the interstate

Scuba diving has always been on my bucket list, so I'm hoping mightily it's on the level. Maybe 2013 is looking up already
