I live in a household of women ranging in age from 22 to 65. This morning I was in the kitchen singing to myself (I may have woke too early and consumed too much coffee) when the 26yr-old came in ---

She says to me, "What is that you're signing?"

"Violent Femmes, Blister in the Sun", says me

*crickets* --- *blank stare*

"You don't know who that is, do you?" and she shakes her head, no.

I shake my head in disbelief.
