Geeking out with my son, who had never heard of Klingons, never heard of pon farr, never saw Kirk self-destruct the Enterprise (considered shocking-shocking in 1984), and never saw Christopher Plummer yelling Shakespeare while blasting Kirk and co. to kingdom come. I feel a bit sorry for him.
