I do remember The Uninvited. Ray Milland and Gail Russel - it was her debut film, I think. She was astonishingly beautiful.

It's called
Julie and it came out in 1956. Doris Day, Barry Sullivan and Louie Jourdan. She's a stewardess and Jourdan is her lunatic husband. Sullivan is a good friend. Jourdan plots to kill her and he catches up with her on a flight. He storms the cockpit, injures the pilot; he ends up dead in the shooting and she's left to land the plane.
