I had been reading that every eight to ten weeks or so, you
should take a week off from weight lifting. This is for your
body to have a chance to fully recover. They say you come back
so much stronger and make more progress this way. Well,
I haven't taken a break in over two years! So I took a week
off. It was hard, because I am so OCD about lifting. But, I
could really feel deep recovery in certain parts of my body.
I really missed my routines though.
I returned to exercising tonight with 20 minutes of HIIT cardio.
So GREAT!
