Now wearing: Black pajama bottoms with skull & cross bones and heart pattern, black boat neck cotton top, flip flops, stripped of all other accoutrement

Now eating: Macona almonds (gift from the gods), macoun apple slices, and cheese on toast - a slice of pumpkin jalapeno sourdough bread with melted havarti. (I indulged myself with a trip to Whole Paycheque on the way home)

Now drinking:club soda with a splash of ruby red grapefruit juice and a squeeze of lime

Trying to web-diagnose a thermostat, high/hot engine issue my car seems to be having.

Last smile: in response to Cosmo and the crazy-eights he likes to run at the end of a walk.

Something good: I submitted the by-seat-of-my-pants grant application this morning (a whole 36 hours before the deadline), and I did a pretty good job, which is something of a miracle since we created the project yesterday.

Feel like: *and exhale*

Smell like: faded D&G pour Femme and supper

Now leaving: for my sofa and this week's episode of SoA, followed by a sojourn to my bed with my kindle.
