I agree with both ccb and hb. I also saw Crazy Eyes within the context of a white family who really didn't get it. The scene in the hospital with the nurse doing her hair was touching but heartbreaking...white people who were color neutral. What was great about Poussey, in addition to being cute was her backbone and integrity. Rosa taking Vee out was a hallelujah moment.

One more thing...Piper didn't just cop on Alex for revenge. She wanted her in prison with her so they could be together. That move in the plot as a way to get Alex back was brilliant
