The "Bible" isn't my favourite book but it does contain my favourite quotation which in one version ( from Ecclesiastes) or another reads:
"All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again."
That, in a very slightly different form, is the tattoo round my left wrist. It has been there since my Mother died in 1997.
