Welcome to New York starring Gerard Depardieu and directed by Abel Ferrara. Though there's a pointed disclaimer at the start of the film, it's about the troubles of former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn who comes across as a despicable pig.
It was almost obscene, most certainly vulgar and violent, but none the less fascinating. It's the best work I've seen by Depardieu in years (!) and I will most likely watch this again.
