We were about to begin to read a book called "Let's Play Hopscotch" in our small reading group when I commented that I couldn't wait to read about lambs playing hopscotch. It was hard to imagine, I said. One of my little girls looked at me really seriously and said, "It's a narrative story, that's why." I am both proud and amused.
