Wild turkeys make themselves at home.
Rick Sabetta was driving along Quaker Meetinghouse Road when he saw a flock of turkeys marching in the middle of the road.
He stopped, got out of his car and attempted to shoo the birds to the safety of the roadside.
Apparently, he ruffled some feathers.
"That's when one of them charges at me," the Forestdale man said Thursday. "It starts making turkey noises and is coming at me. It chased me around my car three times before I could get ahead of it enough to get back in my car."
By then, traffic was stopped all around him.
"Try to picture a 6'8", 300-pound guy getting chased around his car by a turkey," Sabetta said. "People were laughing."
