This happened many, many years ago:
I was in a deep sleep when I woke up to the ear-piercing shriek of our alarm going off. Since the electricity had gone out, I couldn't see a thing. Then I felt someone touching my face (it was my boyfriend at the time). So I started screaming, he started screaming...we both started
growling at each other because we were so scared and neither of us knew what was going on.
I've never felt such a deep primal fear...and it was all over nothing. I guess a storm had knocked out the electricity and simultaneously tripped the alarm. lolz
