The Prince of Tides (Christmas, 1991).

Produced and directed by Barbara Streisand.

Starring: Barbara Steisand & Nick Nolte.

The film was nominated for 7 Academy Awards and Best Picture, but lost out to another film that year - The Silence of the Lambs. Both films are excellent, I think.
