I finally got my pedometer up and running last night in preparation for today, which was my first outing to the Scituate Art Festival. It's sooo much walking even though I got a sweet parking spot in the midst of it all. I didn't put on the pedometer until I got there and took a picture of the steps when I left so I'd know exactly how much walking I did there alone. I walked 8674 steps from 10am-2pm. That's pretty decent, I think, considering it was almost exclusively casual meandering on my part and I'm not good with walking long distances. I also went to Wally World and Michael's and JoAnn's afterwards and let the pedometer keep ticking. I'm close to 14500 steps now and will cross at least 15000 steps before I call it a night.

Kelt, you can KEEP these high step days! For those of you who don't know me, I have a very short stride so I get 2-3 steps for every one of you long-legged people. I feel like I'm a 7000-7500 step a day person so today hurt. My tootsies are in the bubble bath as I type. I also have a blister, dammit. That started around the 3000 step mark but I persevered.
