The important thing is that you are doing something to get healthier. If you feel as if you are getting to a plateau, shake things up. The body becomes very accustomed to movement if done repeatedly.

Thanks y'all for the encouragement and reminders not to get so obsessive about this. I processed some at my Overeaters Anonymous meeting tonight and that helped to get my mind back on the health benefits versus the competition. Competition can help keep me motivated but it can also get me focused on the wrong things. For me the hardest thing in the world is finding balance - I have an "extremes" nature.
