Oh certainly that adds to it as well. But without those what would the site be like? It's easy enough to adjust by turning pictures off for the site. You can use something like this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...textonly&hl=en to reduce your browsing to text only and that should do a marked speed improvement.
