Today is the day that the UN named and is honoring those who have died & survived in this concentration camp in Poland. I have relatives who died and survived this horrible part of our history. Rosie's step father also took part in freeing a concentation camp, and has horrible memories of what he saw. We go to the Washington, DC memorial yearly to honor those who were involved in all of the concentation camps. They will never be forgotten. We continuously pray for them. I thought it would be a good place to start talking about it, so nobody forgets. Some famous folks who survived the holocaust Anne Frank, Elie Wiesel, Roman Polanski, Simon Wiesenthal, and Ruth Westheimer. Andrew |
