trans beach goers

Rehoboth Beach Delaware: On the news yesturday some beach goers made complains about topless transgender beach goers.I have to say this kind of needling pisses me off unfortunately I see it sometimes in the gay bars here as well
The town major did not address the complain & Counsel members mention that this area is a diverse community and hoped that a complait such as that would not happen again.
I hope the trans folks shrug it off & keep going to the beach with just thier surf trunks/speedos on! CHEERS!
By the way the state park beach down here has been known as place for non-heterosexuals however the whole shore line should be a welcoming place for all

Do you a link to the article? I think I read about this and it was some MTFs who have had breast augmentations but nothing else. This may violate the beach's nudity policy if it's not a nudist beach.

The above article is from HuffPo who incorrectly refers to the topless beachgoers as TG men when, in reality, they were TG women.

Many posters asked for this mistake to be changed, but it remains.

Hmmm... And the story I heard is that they were transwomen who had breast augmentation. Because they had male genitalia they were not in violation of any laws.

Yeah the article I read said it was transwomen who had breast augmentation. The cops arrested them cause they still had their male genitalia.

I think this shows, more than anything, how the mass media truly doesn't understand transsexual individuals and what's involved. I also believe it shows how journalists are not doing the research that they used to.

I am curious to know if this happened at North Shores (has both a women's beach and a men's beach), at Poodle Beach (men's beach), or just on the regular beaches.

I wasn't there Memorial Day, but I am heading down there tomorrow for the weekend. I'm sure one of my friends down there will know.

I wonder if where it took place ends up impacting if anything is done with this (the Commisioner evidently wants to look at it), but the Police Chief seems to want to stay out of it. The Police Chief's response leads me to believe that it was on one of the gay/queer beaches.

30% of the year round residents are gay...many being higher income gay men, so lots of money is brought into the community by us queers.

I'll report back what I find out in case anyone is interested.

Not sure DapperButch...Did you find out what beach this happened at?The editorial in Letters a gay whats going on publication was excellent. Unfortunately When I saw the story on t.v. the news anchor never mentioned ftm or mtf so I jumped the gun a bit my apologize to all
