The first thing I ever wrote,,,,over 30 years ago,,, This was not written for someone in particular,,,,but someone I have yet to meet.

Hearts Delight
I touched your soul and I became whole
your sacred fire, has fueled my desire,
a parting of time and you became mine.

You and I are one, this cannot be undone
time and time again, lover and friend,
we've been here before, forever and forevermore.

Your eyes, the mirror of my soul
your tears, the blood of my heart
So long has this heart searched for its mate
was it mere chance, or a twist of fate?

I wander thru the darkness, alone and afraid
save me from myself I pray
Will you come like a wraith in the night?
and give to me, my hearts delight?
