My place is an expression of me... so of course it is charming...
I have made my own soap for years now so yes, you will get fresh soap just for you! I also make my own trailmix which all seem to enjoy. I have an organic garden which provides tasty goodies for our meals. I do keep my space reasonably clean as I never want to be embarassed to bring home a guest... LoL Zima the wonder dog (with one eye and half of one ear missing) is always a hit with everyone! I call her the Snuggle Smuggler as even people who don't like dogs find themselves petting on her and doting on her. Then best of all - in my space - you get ME and my sunny, cheerful personality! Glycerin soap with only natural oils and scents. Haven't tried adding any dried herbs yet, but thought I might this year.
Garden is small and simple. Heirloom tomatoes, green beans, cukes, putting in an asperagus bed and some blackberry bushes this year. I am in a new space so am just getting it going - I know - a little late but it will be better than nothing... and great for next year! |

Brace yourselves... this is what would impress me make me very happy to see in a your(hys, hym, he whatever)
1) a few pets especially dogs 2) good taste and collection of fine wines 3) gourmet and natural spices, ingredients that YOU cook with 4) good music 5) something you made your with own two hands- handy, creative 6) plants that are healthy and thriving 7) flat screen TV in the bedroom 8) king size bed, clean sheets- actually everything MUST be clean. hate slobs 9) large bath tub or hot tub 10) sex toys you bought just for me! Thats another list!

Well I don't know about all women but I do know what I love and they are pretty universal regardless of whom I'm going to visit and aren't not required. I do get all excited when I find any one of the following:
(I am thinking if I'm going over to someone's house to hang out for a while or to spend a week) A TV in the guest room is wonderful, so is a fan.... I actually do like TVs in every room in the house cuz I'm into CNN like that. I like fresh cut flowers. I love the handpushy handsoap at every sink (no washing my hands with dawn isn't the same thing!) An air hockey table is nice or just a pool (sniff cuz I don't have one)...or access to a computer in case I didn't bring my laptop.  (I have an air hockey table  )Control over the remote....no I really don't want to watch fishing shows all week or MTV or ESPNs 1-30. (really.) Ice tea. <---if anyone knows me well enough that I'm going to their house then this is already in the fridge and ready. I stayed at a good friend of mine's house in Florida last year and she had all the things that she had in her bathroom in the guest bathroom too which was really nice. So there were q-tips, neosporin, bandaids, tylenol....ect. I came home and did the same in my guest bathroom. I thought it was really thoughtful and perfect so guests didn't need to ask for it. |

Material things are nice but there have been plenty of times in my life when I couldn't afford much. I've never had any woman come to my house to watch my tv and leave feeling unhappy or unsatisfied.
