For sure Fall is my favorite season..the changing colors of the leaves...watching all the plants going into hybernation for the winter coming around the corner. The crisp air. And Halloween one of my favorite holidays.

Summer; The universe signed, sealed, and delivered me on June 21-the first day of Summer, so, I always figured I was a summer person. My mother's birthday was Dec. 21, the first day of Winter, and we Were opposites lol! I really love All the seasons.

Winter...February 24...My birthday always fell on winter school vacation so that was cool...all those sleep overs with the girls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still love winter....black velvet sky at night with millions of glittery stars ...pale , muted colors of day...snowball fights, ice skating, snuggling, peeling one another out of 10 layers of clothes to get to the goodies,..... making love by the fire....

All of them... they all have a purpose for me summer lets me see sun...do alot of stuff.....sometimes too much too late cuz it stays lite till 9 pm and the temp allows for physical stuff....and winter cuz it gets dark at 430 pm so i slow down....and of course xmas....."the song ...let it snow let it snow let it snow would be weird if temps were above 40...... like say 80..lol
ps my point is all seasons i like .... in the nw the changing colors in fall....access to snow in winter....not too hot but sunny and warm...RIGHT ON! |

Seasons
Think the heat of summer is unbearable. It get's no points from me. Spring is nice and you like that sort of thing, go for it!!!
Winter is when I shine. Walking through the forest with Very large flakes coming down. They're beautiful, and may come up to my thighs My pitbull walks through it, and all you can see is the leash pulls through the fresh snow. She come' out of her snow tunnel with an ear to ear grin

Autumn.. I love that season. I start to ache for it towards the end of August. Yes, it starts to enter my mind.. how much I will enjoy walks in the cool, crisp air, all the varieties of apples, squash and bins full of different types of nuts in the stores.
And here in the USA we have a holiday called Halloween, the last evening in October.. which has children dressing scary and knocking at their neighbors door saying "Trick or treat!" and you have to give them some candy. Deborah |

Waiting for Winter
Most decided late Fall and Winter. Allergies (outside) are gone. It's nice and chilly for sleep. Can breathe better in the Winter. Can not wait until the first good snowfall to go outside being able to enjoy the large flakes seen in front of street lights. Would slip and fall, but tempted to jump for joy whilst walking with my wagon to the store in steady falling snow.
We're in the right area of the country. Almost no Spring, and only a couple of months of hot/humid. One drawback is that one can't swim in the lakes unless you enjoy cold water. Partner once went swimming in Her college years in Lake Champlain with chunks of ice floating in the water---in June.
