Anyone play video games? PC, Xbox, Playstation Wii or other? I love the "Grand Theft Auto" series, I'm up to the San Andreas (link) one and it's my hands down favorite (and it has a hardcore music track!). I can play for hours in my spare time... I know bad, but I love bad so that's all good So anyone else? What's you favorite game? Links? I know I can't be the only one.

OB I've heard a lot of good things about Halo... I'm going to have to check it out, but I play on my laptop so I'll have to check the req. (thinking I may have to someday get a hellish gaming laptop). June I knew I should have got that game ("Left for Dead" not "Donut World".... heh), it really does look great. I think I'll start video game a wish list here. Wish List Left for Dead

The Heroes of Might and Magic 6 are (almost) here, and that reminded me how much I loved HMM 3 and 4 - 4 being my favourite of the series and 3 having the best map (the Greek mythology one). The first part was too hard for me: you play and play so you could gather some troops... and then a mere pack of the weakest creatures possible beats you .gif) . Anyone else into HMM? What's your favourite part ? And anyone into oldies/abandonware? Those are my favourite games . Old Sierra and LucasArts adventures, Civilization, The Lost Vikings... I've discovered Princess Maker 2 last year - and what a surprise ! You'd expect something completely different judging by the title alone. The game is so full of intricacies and possibilities - it reminded me a bit of Black & White: controlling the little things your avatar does (in case of PM2, your... daughter, kinda) you influence the bigger picture, their personality. I got hooked in 5 minutes and didn't get up until I finished one cycle. Everything plays a part - not just if you send her to learn strategy or arts or magic, but also the date of her birth (Leos are under the Sun's influence and have a bonus when it comes to, hm, Charisma, Libras under Venus' and have a bonus for, say, Sensitivity, etc.) and her blood-type. I played a censored version and played for the "good" side, so I haven't experienced anything of the things they mention, but if you're interested you might want to check the Controversy part of the Wiki entry (spoliers) - everybody's got different likes/dislikes. |

Princess Maker 2 was like the creepiest game ever, just saying. That said, lately I've been playing games in the Fable and Phantasy Star Online series, on multiple consoles--just between those two series, the XBox 360, PC, and Nintendo DS. |
