A new year and the ability to make a fresh start (or do a do over) in several areas of my life.

Guac and salsa and chips. I'll finish them off tonight.

Music. It soothes the savage beast as well as making the world go 'round.

My honey, though he feels terrible today. At least I have no worries of him not being safe. The TV, bed and (damned) Snuggy can only hurt him so much.

Reflecting on myself and this past year. I'm not doing as badly as I thought I was.

1. I finally put my writings on a flash drive (after losing the last one).

2. Even though I found out a program I wanted to participate in was shut down before it got off the ground, I learned about a new program that won't save me as much money as the first one would have, but still save me more than I'm dishing out now. I signed myself up pronto before this one bit the dust too!

3. My boss burped in my face and it was putrid, BUT he had helped me out with someone I didn't feel like dealing with, so I held my breath and let it go.

4. I have more time to play online tonight because my last check in called and said they won't be here until much later.

5. I have Corn Pops and Fruit Loops for dinner! Of course, this was not my intended dinner but I ate the second half of my sub earlier. Luckily, I luv me some Pops 'n Loops!

1. My daughter has had a good day. Consequently, W/we have had a good day, even though W/we've been snowed in for over a week now.

2. Slum Dog Millionaire is on TV tonight. Finally, something worth watching (I hope).

3. My new, Indian style ankle bracelet makes me feel sexy.

4. I'm making progress with the paperwork for O/our taxes and come filing time, should be completely up to date. Yay!

5. I know I am loved and cherished.

Slum Dog Millionaire is a wonderful movie. A bit jerky in the back and forth, but once you get into the rhythm of it....beautiful!
