I confess, Thanksgiving felt like a Golden Girls episode. I was the youngest one there. It was fun. I sat on a high backed stool drinking champagne and listening to my roommate's 94 year old grandmother tell the tale of her aunt coming to Oregon from Pennsylvania in a horse and buggy. They lost the horse and buggy in the Platte River and had to make it the rest of the way with oxen. After dinner when I was washing dishes her daughter, the 65 year old aunt, told me after mother has passed I'm outta here. I'm going to Italy and get me some men.

Dinner was awesome. Everything. I do confess, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and pecan pie are some of my most favorite foods in the world. My roomies basted the turkey every hour- on the outside plus they injected it was this long needle on the inside. I think it was the moistest turkey I have ever had.

There is single malt scotch waiting at home for me.
I wonder if I would take advantage of myself if I were to get my drunk.
I wouldn't get myself drunk.
I wonder if we could convince June to start the "What color should the penis cake be?" thread. Reading that she was tempted to do this made me bust out laughing!
I am taking a break from testing this crazy program and its output files.
I have no idea what weird green Jell-o stuff is.

I confess....

I just ate a serving of Planter's Creme Brulee Almonds and I'm tempted to go back for more.

I will be heading into the kitchen soon to start Thanksgiving, Part Deux.

Yesterday was the first day that felt like winter here.

I confess, I like lime jello with pears in it. My grandma used to make it. I also like bananas in strawberry jello.

If it makes GT feel any better, the yams I ate yesterday had pecans sprinkled on top but no marshmallow goo. Yummy!

I confess;

If I am building something with my hands while cooking, and the phone goes off.. It makes me anxious not being able to answer it...

But..

If my hands are clean, it doesn't bother me not to answer the phone..

I have three types of enchaladas in the oven... I have three kids in the bedroom making kid type noises... This makes me happy...

I have missed my son's best friend almost as much as my son and am trying to get him to move into one of the spare bedrooms next school term...

Mitmo's face looked like this when I said.. Move In!!!

I confess...

For the past few days, most of my thoughts have started with "I confess" such as "I confess that I need to go take the clothes out of the dryer."
That I'm missing leftovers and wish we had some.
I always say that jello creations are icky but I secretly like them and they remind me of family dinners of my childhood.

i havent stopped smoking yet but i still go thru prolly 5 dumdums a day...
i have been craving vinegar wicked bad lately...
i have been seeing someone that is way too good for me...
i wanna do real bad things to her....

I never knew this had cottage cheese in it....ummmm

When I began the day I did not know what "weird green Jello-O stuff" was.
I have been informed. And now I know that weird green jell-o stuff is a definite NO. And none should be placed on my plate in the event that anyone prepares a plate for Gentle Tiger.
